Drill Pipe Service

EEST Pipe Cleaning machine is providing most cleaning efficient both outside and inside diameter. Estimated 200 joints per day for cleaning capability. Pipe inspection, DS-1 CAT-4/5, are available and Thread fixing with API complied. Internal and External OD coating are provided for any rust protection in the final step if required.

We provide drill pipe cleaning & inspection services

The service can provide pipe cleaning services that remove rust, scale, cement and drilling fluids. This can be achieved by use of an OD/ID brushing unit or a water blasting unit. Once the pipe is cleaned then service specialist can apply a rust inhibitor-type coating both internal ID and external OD which has a shelf life more than 6 months.

Fastest cleaning with +/- 200 joints per day (excluding inspection)

A safe pipe bundling area provides for storage and transfer.

Full Length Ultrasonic Inspection/ MPI

The FLUT system is the latest technology available in the industry. The FLUT unit is a pulse-echo type system with the capability of detecting transverse , longitudinal and oblique flaws and will give wall thickness reading over 100% of the drill pipe tubes.

All inspection information is electronically recorded. The inspector can provide FLUT inspection on a wide range of drill pipe sizes and weights, ranging from 3-1/2” to 6-5/8” OD.

Refacing/ Recutting

Portable machine refacing is available in EEST STH yard facility. This method of refacing allows for machine refacing of drill pipe shoulders and rebeveling of tool joints. This will ensure a good sealing surface on drill pipe connections during drilling operations.
