EEST Energy Services (Thailand) Secures Lucrative $15+ Million Contract with Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production Co., Ltd. for Pumping Vessel Services in 2023 Well Plug and Abandonment Program
Bangkok, Thailand – December 21, 2022 – EEST Energy Services (Thailand), a global leader in offshore contracting and service provision, is pleased to announce that it has secured a major contract worth over $15 million from Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production Co., Ltd. The contract involves the provision of Pumping Vessel services for Chevron (Thailand) as part of their well plug and abandonment program in 2023.
Approved for publication in December 2022, the contract calls for EEST to perform Phase I well plug and abandonment services in accordance with Chevron’s business plan. This includes pumping, cementing, slickline, and related services in the Gulf of Thailand. Work on the project is set to commence in January 2023 and is expected to be completed by December 2025.
EEST anticipates that the contract will contribute positively towards asset retirement for the project in terms of revenue generation, manpower, and sustaining the company’s core business until the end of the contract.
