Integrated Rigless Well Plug and Abandonment Services to be Provided as Part of Asset Retirement Plan in the Gulf of Thailand
Bangkok, Thailand, March 19, 2023 – EEST Energy Services (Thailand) has announced today that it has been awarded a contract worth over $17+ million by PTT Exploration and Production Co., Ltd. (PTTEP). The contract entails the provision of Asset Retirement Services for Rigless well plug and abandonment (RPU) from 2023 onwards, as part of PTTEP’s G2 business plan under their asset retirement strategy in the Gulf of Thailand.
The project is set to commence in May 2023 and is expected to be completed by December 2025. With this contract, EEST anticipates significant contributions to its earnings, workforce expansion, and the sustainability of its core business until the end of the contract period.
Under the terms of the contract, EEST will perform integrated well plug and abandonment services utilizing Rigless Pulling Units and other related services in accordance with PTTEP’s requirements.
