EEST Energy Services (Thailand) Awarded $9+ Million Contract by Hibiscus Petroleum Berhad, Malaysia for Well Workover and Plug and Abandonment Services Using Advanced EEST-502 Hybrid Hydraulic Workover Unit
Bangkok, Thailand – March 21, 2023 – EEST Energy Services (Thailand), a leading global offshore contractor and service provider, is proud to announce that it has been awarded a $9+ million contract from Hibiscus Petroleum Berhad, Malaysia, operating under T7 Global Berhad, Malaysia IWS contract.
The contract entails the provision of well workover/re-completion and well plug and abandonment services using the innovative EEST-502 Hybrid Hydraulic Workover unit. The project is set to commence in April 2023 and is scheduled for completion in July 2023.
Robert James Davidson, also known as Bob Managing Director of EEST Energy Services (Thailand), expressed his enthusiasm for the project, stating that the contract will contribute positively to the Malaysian market in terms of revenue generation, manpower, and sustaining EEST’s core business until the end of the campaign.
